Sponsors & sponsorships
We're delighted to extend an invitation for sponsorship of ICSR 2024.
The International Conference on Shellfish Restoration (ICSR) will be held on beautiful Jekyll Island, Georgia, September 15-18. We expect about 300 participants both international and local. ICSR acts as a global nexus for discussions advancing shellfish restoration science, practice, and networks. Our attendees include government, shellfish farmers, industry, indigenous communities, conservationists, students, and restoration volunteers. This year we have expanded our program to involve more subjects related to the role aquaculture plays in shellfish restoration.
Since the first ICSR in 1996, we've expanded from a local focus to an international restoration community, hosting ICSR across the U.S., Australia, Scotland, France, Netherlands, Canada, and Ireland. We already have commitments from Europe and Australia. Our discourse has broadened to encompass climate change impacts, ecosystem services, living shorelines, freshwater species, seaweed, and restorative aquaculture.
Joining us as a sponsor aligns you with organizations like NOAA, National and state Sea Grant offices, Puget Sound Restoration Fund, The Nature Conservancy and private companies, who have already pledged their support. Major donors receive a prime location for their exhibit and/or a sponsorship of a specific event. As an ICSR sponsor, your organization will enjoy extensive acknowledgment throughout the conference and in our publications. We have arranged our exhibitors around the posters and the coffee breaks to increase activity.
All ICSR 2024 payments will be processed through the nonprofit University of Georgia Foundation.
Your donations are tax-deductible.

Sponsorship levels too high?
Become a "Friend of ICSR" instead.
Many of our potential sponsors have responded that they would like to support ICSR but cannot afford the $2,500 minimum entry level. There are two other opportunities:
Cash donation of $250 to $2,500 establishing you as a “Friend of ICSR” that includes a listing in our final program (both digital and printed).
By providing a substantial give-a-way (~300) such as a hat, shucking knife or other item which has your logo or other information. These are provided in the tote bag given to every attendee.
