Low-Country Boil Dinner
Tuesday, September 17, 6pm
Tuesday, September 17, 6pm
Join us for a memorable evening of delicious food and great company at our Low-Country Boil Dinner, a special event for ICSR 2024 attendees. This classic Southern seafood feast, also known as Frogmore Stew or Beaufort Boil, is a staple of coastal South Carolina cuisine.
Gather around the table as we serve up a mouthwatering spread of succulent shrimp, sweet corn on the cob, smoky sausage, and tender potatoes, all perfectly seasoned with Old Bay and other traditional spices. The ingredients are boiled together in a large pot, allowing the flavors to meld and create a truly satisfying meal.
As you savor the delicious food, enjoy the company of your fellow conference-goers in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. This is a wonderful opportunity to network, make new connections, and share your experiences and insights from the conference.
The Low-Country Boil Dinner will be held on Tuesday, September 17 at 6pm at the pavilion at Great Dunes Park (which is about a 6-minute walk from the Jekyll Island Convention Center). One ticket is included per conference registration and extra tickets may be purchased for $35 at the registration desk.
Don't miss this chance to experience a taste of Southern hospitality and create lasting memories with your colleagues at ICSR 2024!
