ICSR2024 is complete!
The first ICSR was held in 1996. Since that time, it has been held all over the world from Canada to Scotland to Australia and stops in between, often meeting in the charming coastal city of Charleston, South Carolina, USA. Unique in its approach, ICSR is organized to allow interaction among participants forming collaborations and friendships that last a lifetime.
Jekyll Island, Georgia provides the perfect setting for immersion into coastal beauty and the natural resources that we are working to restore. The Jekyll Island Convention Center offers convenient, stunning oceanfront gathering spaces.

Conference activities:
On-site events include a welcome reception, portable lunches, a traditional Low Country Boil, an Inaugural Golf Tournament, dolphin tours, and visit to the Georgia Sea Turtle Center.
The ICSR Code of Conduct
ICSR is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all attendees. By attending ICSR2024, you agree to abide by this Code of Conduct in all conference venues, including ancillary events and official and unofficial social gatherings.
We expect all attendees to:
Treat others with respect and consideration, valuing diversity of views and opinions.
Communicate openly and thoughtfully, with respect for others.
Be considerate, respectful, and collaborative.
Refrain from harassment, discrimination, intimidation or abuse of any kind.
Alert conference organizers if you notice a dangerous situation or someone in distress.
Prohibited behaviors include:
Harassment, intimidation, or discrimination in any form
Physical or verbal abuse
Inappropriate display of nudity and/or sexual images
Threatening or stalking other attendees
Sexually harassing others
Sustained disruption of talks or other events
Photographing or recording presenters' slides without explicit permission
Photography and Recording Policy:
Attendees are prohibited from taking photographs or recordings of presenters' slides during presentations without explicit permission.
If you wish to capture content from a presentation, please ask the presenter for permission after their talk.
This policy helps protect unpublished data, copyrighted material, and respects the intellectual property of presenters.
Unauthorized photography or recording may be considered a form of harassment and treated accordingly.
If an attendee engages in prohibited behavior, the conference organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expelling them from the conference with no refund.
If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of the conference staff immediately.
Conference staff will be happy to help attendees contact hotel/venue security or local law enforcement, provide escorts, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the conference. We value your attendance.
We expect attendees to follow these rules in all conference venues, conference-related social events, and online media related to ICSR2024.
